Vestas has confirmed an order to supply turbines to the 100MW Liulongtai wind farm in north-eastern China.
The Danish manufacturer will install 50 V100-2MW units at the project site in Yi County near Jinzhou City for its long-term customer CGN Wind Energy.
Delivery of the turbines is expected in the second quarter of 2017 and the commissioning is scheduled for the third quarter of 2017, Vestas said.
The order also includes a two-year active output management 4000 service contract, in which Vestas guarantees availability and performance, and a system for data-driven monitoring and preventive maintenance.
“The cooperation between Vestas and CGN is in its 10th year, and with this latest order, the accumulated orders in this partnership have exceeded the 1GW milestone,” Vestas Asia Pacific and China president Chris Beaufait said.
