Vestas has secured a turbine order totalling 420MW for an unnamed wind farm in the US.
Under the terms of the contract with an undisclosed client, Vestas will supply and commission over 150 of its V120-2.2MW model for the project.

Deliveries are expected in the second quarter of 2020, with commissioning expected in the fourth quarter of the same year.
Last month, Vestas’ North American business announced it is supplying 111 turbines for the 242MW Tenaska Clear Creek wind farm in Missouri, US.
The turbine maker is also supplying 56 of its V136-3.6 tall tower turbines for Duke Energy’s 200MW Mesteno wind project in Texas, which started construction last month.
