Vestas has secured a 59MW turbine order for two wind projects in Japan from developer, Eurus Energy.
The order, which includes supply and supervision of installation of 14 V117-4.2MW turbines, is for the 21MW Tabito and 38MW Sandaimyojin wind projects, located in Fukushima prefecture.

Vestas will also deliver a multi-year service agreement for the wind farms.
Delivery of the turbines for Tabito project will begin in the third quarter of 2022, with commissioning scheduled for the second quarter of 2023.
The delivery for Sandaimyojin project will begin in the second quarter of 2023, with commissioning planned for the first quarter of 2024.
