Vestas has won a 73MW turbine order from PAK-Polska Czysta Energia for the Czluchow wind project in northern Poland.
The order includes the supply, installation, and commissioning of 33 V110-2.2MW turbines installed at a hub height of 120 metres.
Vestas will also service the turbines under a 15-year agreement.
The order marks Vestas’ first collaboration with PAK-Polska Czysta Energia, a subsidiary of ZEPAK.
Towers for the turbines will be produced locally.
Vestas sales east & BD vice president William Gaillard said: “We are delighted to build a new partnership with PAK-Polska Czysta Energia, as we continue to expand our services in Poland.
“The Czluchow project further proves Vestas’ commitment to create value across the supply chain in Poland, as all towers will be produced locally.
“PAK-Polska Czysta Energia has also entrusted us with a 15-year full-scope service agreement which will further build out our service footprint in the region for the long-term.”
ZEPAK chief strategy officer Andrzej Janiszowski added: “We are happy to be able to develop our presence in the renewable energy sector with help of such a reputable turbine supplier as Vestas.
“Building the Czluchow project is just the beginning of a long-term cooperation and we are most certainly looking forward to it.”
Deliveries and installation at the Czluchow wind project are expected to begin in the third quarter of 2023, while commissioning is planned for the first quarter of 2024.
