Vestas has secured 862MW worth of turbine orders in Australia, the USA and Canada as part of its fourth quarter intake.
The company said an undisclosed customer in Australia will receive 40 V172-7.2MW units.

The 288MW deal includes a 30-year service agreement.
Delivery and commissioning are scheduled for 2027, Vestas added.
The manufacturer has also received orders for 574MW in the USA and Canada.
No further details for these contracts have been announced.
