VSB France has commissioned the Eoliennes de Bosjean wind farm in Puy-de-Dôme.
The six-turbine array has a capacity of 12.8MW and features Vestas V110 machines.
Managing Director of VSB France Maël Lagarde said: “Thanks to these two sites, we will produce no less than 102 GWh, avoiding 30,000 tonnes of CO2 per year, which is a great way for a region to be part of the energy transition and contribute to sustainability for generations to come.”
The project is the second wind farm developed in Puy-de-Dôme by VSB France, and contracted TP Lyaudet for the earthworks, OTE for the civil engineering works, and Cegelec for the network infrastructure package.
VSB Group CEO Felix Grolman said: “With projects such as Bosjean, we are demonstrating that local value creation, technological innovation and environmental benefits can be successfully combined.”
