Wind Works Power’s one turbine 3MW BAD wind farm in Germany has achieved commercial operation.
The project consists of one Enercon E101 3MW unit with a 135-metre hub height.
Wind Works has financed and constructed the project turnkey for investors with an approximate investment value of $6m.
The company retains a majority stake in the project.
The wind farm will sell electricity under a 20-year fixed feed-in tariff and also has the capability for a direct power line connection potentially allowing for the direct sale to customers.
