German renewables developer WKN has completed the sale of the 9.9MW Kirchengel wind farm in Thuringia to Centraplan and a group of unnamed private investors.
Two of the project’s three 3.3MW Vestas V112 turbines had already been sold at the end of 2016, with the third now offloaded to the investors, WKN said.
Construction of the wind farm is underway, with commissioning scheduled for the summer.
WKN is EPC contractor and will also be technical and commercial manager of the wind farm after commissioning.
