Specialist recruiter Atlas Professionals is to acquire Brander to strengthen the former’s position in offshore energy, including renewables.
Brander is a technical recruitment company based in Aberdeen providing over 150 personnel a day on contracts, temporary or permanent basis for a broad range of energy markets.
Atlas Professionals managing director Marcel Burghouwt said: “Brander has an impressive track record in offshore sectors which perfectly complements the business activities of Atlas Professionals in the energy, marine and renewables industries.
“Besides this, Atlas recognise that Brander have built some fantastic relationships with professionals and clients which made this acquisition a perfect fit.”

The companies said that there will now follow a period of integration, which will be “communicated with all stakeholders to encourage a smooth transition process”.
No details on the price of the acquisition were disclosed.
