CWind has hired Henrik Hansen to the new position of strategy & sales director with immediate effect.
The company said Hansen (pictured) will be working with the executive team to lead business growth and expansion in 2016 and beyond.
He will be have responsibility for business development, strategy and sales at CWind.
His remit includes reducing risks and adding value to clients’ projects by delivering a widening portfolio of services.
Most recently he was project director at Areva/Adwen, where he was responsible for profit/loss at the Borkum West II project.
CWind chief executive officer Chris Randle said: “Having worked in a number of senior roles within the offshore wind industry, Henrik is an excellent addition to the team.
“No doubt his extensive knowledge and insight into our ever changing market place and our customers’ needs will make an extremely valuable contribution to our company.”
Hansen said: “I am delighted to join the team at CWind, I firmly believe in the direction the business is taking, integrated service provision is clearly the way ahead for our industry.”
