Denmark and the Netherlands have signed an agreement to accelerate cooperation between the two countries on a range of energy areas linked to the low-carbon transition, including offshore wind and power-to-X.
The knowledge exchange and cooperation will also cover green heat, energy efficiency, decarbonisation of gas infrastructure and EU climate ambitions.

Denmark and the Netherlands have set carbon emissions reduction targets of 70% and 49% by 2030, respectively.
The deal was formalised by Danish Minister of Climate, Energy and Supply Dan Jorgensen and Dutch Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy Eric Wiebes.
Both countries have been collaborating for the last year-and-a-half on green heating systems, mainly district heating.
