The Danish Energy Agency has set up a pool of funding to give renewable and clean energy exports a boost.
In 2019 DKK5.1m (€684,000) has been set aside.
The fund will help green energy companies and organisations in Denmark promote homegrown technology and services abroad.
The energy export pool is taking applications from 14 August until 29 September 2019.
Applications will be assessed on at least one of several impact targets, which include potential for growth in exports of technology and solutions supporting a transition to green energy, potential to reinforce Denmark’s existing energy-related government cooperation or to expand long-term government cooperation in potential growth markets.
Successful applicants will be revealed on 4 November 2019.
DKK8.1m is set aside for 2020-2024.
The money for the new pool comes from the Energy Agreement.
In 2017, Danish companies exported energy technology and services worth DKK85bn billion, accounting for 11.1% of total Danish goods exports.
