Encavis Asset Management is carrying out investment consulting work for an unnamed insurance group for a fund investing in solar and wind farms.
The fund’s first acquisitions total 32MW and include the 18MW Les Landes wind farm in France, Encavis said.

Additional wind and solar farms in Central Europe are in due diligence for the fund, which has a target volume in the three-digit million euro range, it added.
Encavis Asset Management chief executive Karsten Mieth said: “We are currently examining solar parks and several wind farms in detail.
“We pay the highest attention to ensuring that they are optimally in line with our investor’s ideas.”
