NHOA Energy has commissioned a 120 megawatt hour energy storage system for Taiwan Cement Group (TCC Group) located in Yilan County.
The system at TCC Group’s SuAo plant forms part of NHOA Energy’s portfolio of over 550MWh of systems in operation in Asia-Pacific.
The developer has a pipeline of online assets and projects under construction, totalling around 2GWh, across five continents.
The SuAo energy storage system meets the E-dReg (Enhanced Dynamic Regulation) service requirements set by Taiwan Power Corporation, the grid operator, and support industrial behind-the-meter peak shaving for onsite electricity consumption.
“The commissioning of the over 120MWh project at the SuAo plant for TCC Group represents another key step on NHOA Energy’s growth path in Asia.
“With over 550MWh currently online, NHOA Energy solidifies its position at the forefront of the energy transition in the region and globally,” said Lucie Kanius-Dujardin, Executive Vice President Global Markets of NHOA Energy.
