The company said the vessels were acquired through a 100% share purchase of two Spanish vessel owning entities and are on long-term contracts with Ocean Breeze in Germany and Vestas in the UK.
ESVAGT stated the contracts have been novated following discussions with the customers and that the crew onboard has been offered employment with ESVAGT.

Karas added: “This acquisition marks a major strategic step for ESVAGT, strengthening our leadership in long-term SOV operations and accelerating our growth ambitions.”
Kristian Ole Jakobsen, chief executive officer at ESVAGT, said: “Combined with ESVAGT’s recent commissioning of the world’s first methanol-powered SOV for Ørsted, this development underscores ESVAGT’s commitment to driving a meaningful green transition in energy production.”
