Greenvolt Group has increased its syndicated financing from €350m to €400m, following strong interest from the financial community.
The €400m will contribute to strengthening the balance sheet of the Greenvolt to foster the development of its pipeline in the utility-scale segment.
This increase was supported by two additional banks, including a new corporate lending partner, bringing the total number of international lenders in the facility to eight.
Initially, the syndicate was composed of one institutional investor and five banks, with four new financial institutions joining Greenvolt Group as corporate-level partners.
“This increase in financing reflects the trust that financial institutions have in our strategy in the renewables sector.
“It also highlights the benefits of having KKR as a key shareholder, extending our reach within the financial community”, said Joao Manso Neto, CEO of Greenvolt Group.
