Senior UK offshore wind executives will tell the country’s main political parties they must double down on backing for renewables to increase the pace of project delivery.
Energy Secretary Claire Coutinho and her Labour counterpart Ed Miliband are due to face the industry at Global Offshore Wind 2024 in Manchester just a fortnight out from 4 July’s general election.
Both will hear demands from developers and the supply chain for policy stability and a more ambitious approach to offshore wind.
