Belgium transmission system operator Elia and German TSO 50Hertz have launched a joint procurement for geotechnical surveys in the Belgian North Sea and German Baltic Sea.
The tender document calls for geotechnical survey and soil sampling for submarine power cables and is divided into three lots.

Each lot is for a contract for 96 months, with no renewal.
As the contract involves joint procurement in different countries, Belgian procurement law will be applied.
Interested parties have until 13.30 local time on 19 February to apply.
