Innovative wind, solar, hydro and marine energy technologies are among the finalists for the sixth annual Ocean Exchange ‘Call for Solutions’ competition.
The Ocean Exchange is based in the US and is an international platform that works to accelerate the adoption by industry of innovations that positively impact environments, economies and health.
The 15 finalists include: Swedish wave power developer CorPower; Belgian hydro company Turbulent; 510Nano’s SolarVia solar energy technology; Columbia Power Technologies’ StingRay wave power system; and Weaver Wind Energy’s Weaver 5 wind turbine.
Two prizes of $100,000 will be awarded at the Ocean Exchange annual event being held between 9 and 11 November in Savannah, Georgia.
