LevelTen Energy, the Nature Conservancy and the Nation Audubon Society have launched a new impact framework for a more equitable and sustainable clean energy transition.
The framework, detailed in a white paper, uses community, conservation and climate (3Cs), to ensure that procurement decisions are bolstered by enhanced transparency for maximum benefits to both people and planet.
The white paper, Beyond Carbon Free, explores the “pivotal role” developers and energy buyers can play when it comes to the unprecedented build-out of wind, solar and associated infrastructure by embracing a 3C approach.
“LevelTen has seen how creating standards and transparency can accelerate the renewable energy economy,” said Zach Starsia, director of transactions at LevelTen Energy.
