Turbine installation firm Muehlhan Wind Service (MWS) has acquired a majority stake in Renewable Oil Services (ROS).
ROS specialises in gearbox oil and hydraulic oil exchanges on wind turbines onshore and offshore across the UK and Ireland.
The acquisition of Renewable Oil Services aligns with Muehlhan Wind Service’s strategic focus on expanding its expertise and services in the wind energy industry, while also solidifying its position in the highly important UK market, the company said.
By adding Renewable Oil Services to its portfolio, Muehlhan Wind Service can now offer comprehensive gearbox maintenance and oil exchange services to its customers.
Renewable Oil Services will continue to operate as an independent company with the same company name and brand, under the leadership of its current management team.
