Three onshore wind and three solar projects totalling 269MW were successful in Denmark’s 2018 technology neutral renewables auction, according to the Danish Energy Agency.
The successful onshore facilities are the 77.4MW KS Thorup-Sletten, 59.3MW SE Blue Renewables DK and 28.8MW NRGi Wind developments.
Photovoltaic winners are the 60MW Rodby Fjord, 30MW Naessundvej and 14MW Better Energy Frederikslund Estate plants.
Winning bid prices ranged from 1.89 ore a kilowatt-hour to 2.98 ore/kWh, with the average price 2.28 ore/kWh, the DEA said.
A total of 17 bids were received of which 280MW was solar and 260MW onshore wind, it added.
The winning projects must be connected to the grid within two years of contracts being signed with support given for 20 years.
