Former UK Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change Amber Rudd is joining Norwegian energy company Equinor as chair of Equinor UK’s international advisory group.
Rudd also served Equalities Minister, Secretary of State for Work & Pensions and Home Secretary while a member of parliament for Hastings and Rye between 2010 and 2019.

She stood down from parliament at the last General Election in December last year.
Rudd said there are “huge challenges ahead” but that Equinor has a “great team to rise to them”.
