UK renewables recruiter Cathcart Energy has opened an office in Copenhagen, Denmark.
In addition, the company has appointed recruitment consultant Nanna Bendixen who will be responsible for the company’s existing accounts in Denmark.
Bendixen will lead the team in adding new clients to Cathcart’s books.
According to Cathcart Energy, which has a central office in Malmo, Sweden, the Denmark office will bolster the company’s regional presence and expand the services on offer to the wider European renewables market.
Cathcart Energy director Luke Westendarp (pictured) said: “For years Denmark has been a pioneer of renewable energy, particularly in the offshore wind sector.
“This heavy focus on green energy in the region has opened up numerous opportunities for our company, and given the increasing demand for more high-end technical staff in Denmark right now, the time could not be better for Cathcart Energy to expand here.”
