Danish consultancy COWI has hired Sebastian Flores as its new global director for wind and renewables.
Flores, a native of Costa Rica, joins from the commercial department at UL Renewables in Bremen, Germany.

He will be responsible for expanding the company’s work in renewables from a new premises in HafenCity in Hamburg, which is due to open in May.
“I am very excited about the prospect of building bridges between the international clients and COWI’s world-class competencies,” said Flores.
“The goal is to make wind energy the most competitive source of energy and create value for our clients. To succeed, we need to be efficient, professional and fully digitalized. I look forward to being part of this journey.”
