Irish specialist geotechnical engineering consultancy Gavin & Doherty Geosolutions (GDG) has bolstered its team with a trio of new hires.
Liliana Trindade is GDG’s new senior geophysicist, bringing more than 12 years’ experience in land and marine geophysical surveys across UK and European waters.
She has led the development of technical aspects and processing strategies for both office-based and offshore teams required to meet efficient delivery of various hydrographic, geophysical and UXO projects, for cable routes and offshore wind farms.
Penny Haywood is a coastal engineer with over five years’ demonstrated history of working with offshore geophysical surveying and site investigation, ground model interpretation and reporting for projects in the North Sea and Irish Sea.
David O’Sullivan joins GDG as a senior consultant in the offshore and marine advisory team.
GDG managing director Paul Doherty said: “Our growing team reflects an increase in workload and significant additional business from our trusted clients around the world.
“We are lucky to be working on some very interesting and technically challenging projects, which provides an opportunity for existing staff to apply and enhance their skillsets.
“It also prompted the addition of our three new, highly skilled experts and recognises the importance of this work, and the teams undertaking it.
“Liliana, Penny and David are very welcome, and we are pleased to have them at GDG.”
