James Fisher Marine Services has promoted Jennie Kevis-Stirling to the role of the company’s survey and unexploded ordnance manager.
Kevis-Stirling has worked with academic oceanographic institutions in the US, before developing her specialism for marine geohazards and survey with Fugro.
She was also behind the transformation of local industry body East of England Energy Group (EEEGR), before spending the last two years with James Fisher Marine Services promoting and developing its subsea business.
James Fisher managing director Barry Jennings said: “It is always great to promote within and even better when we can match a role to someone’s clear passion and experience.
“I am confident that Jennie will be a great success and has my full support. It’s important to identify any ways we can enhance our services, including UXO and subsea, to meet the needs of customers.”
Kevis-Stirling added: “I am looking forward to shaping the direction of future survey activities for JFMS, and to be part of the exciting growth that JFMS is experiencing.
“I am confident that my knowledge and experience will help me to enhance an already strong market offer and to deliver the strategic results required for long-term success.”
Recent projects undertaken by the company include UXO campaigns at East Anglia 1 and Triton Knoll offshore wind farms.
