Mingyang Smart Energy has appointed Horatio Evers (pictured) as chief executive of its European business.
Evers previously led the global energy division at BASF, where he oversaw the company’s renewable power portfolio and expansion across Europe, China and the US.
He has held senior management roles in Singapore, Switzerland and Germany during more than 20 years in the energy sector.
Mingyang founder and chief executive Zhang Chuanwei said Evers’ track record in renewables and international management experience will be “instrumental in taking Ming Yang Europe to the next level”.
Evers said: “Together, we will strengthen Ming Yang’s presence in global markets and accelerate the European Net-Zero Plan and the transition to a zero-carbon future.”
