Renewable energy consultancy OWC has appointed Gill Howard-Larsen to lead its North and South American operations.
She has been instrumental in international energy infrastructure development, project financing, and technical due diligence, contributing to over 20GW of renewable energy projects during her 30-year career.
“The renewable energy industry in the Americas continues to grow at a very rapid rate, driven by technological advancements in clean energy, and a global push for more sustainable energy solutions,” said Howard-Larsen (pictured).
“My mission at OWC is to support renewable energy projects across the Americas by leveraging our extensive technical expertise and market experience to the benefit of developers, owners and investors,” she added.
Based in Southern California, Howard-Larsen joins OWC from her previous role as global director of renewables advisory and software at an independent safety science company.
She joins a growing team based across OWC’s regional operations in the US, Canada, Brazil and Colombia.
“Gill is a household name in the US renewable energy industry,” said OWC chief executive Will Cleverly.
“Combining her expertise with the competence of the wider OWC team in the Americas region will enable us to deliver even more value to our clients in both offshore and onshore renewables.”
