The Renewables Consulting Group (RCG) has appointed Laura Evertsen as a director in the company’s Taipei office in Taiwan.
Evertsen (pictured) brings over 15 years of experience in renewable energy leadership and knowledge of offshore wind project development.
She was previously head of renewables for Centrica, and prior to that she held a number of commercial and development roles, including six years as head of development at Centrica Renewables with responsibility for offshore wind activity.
Evertsen will report to Gareth Lewis, RCG managing director for Asia Pacific.
Lewis said: “We are delighted that Laura has joined RCG to lead our development services in Taiwan.
“Her extensive knowledge in this area, combined with her commercial expertise will be a tremendous asset for our clients.
“Her appointment reinforces our commitment to this important market, and anticipates further expansion built on the success RCG has already seen in Taiwan.”
Evertsen said: “I am thrilled to be joining the team at RCG. Given the rapid growth in the renewable energy market across Asia, this is an exciting time to join the firm, with its outstanding track record in projects across the region.
