Statkraft has named Tor Lønnum (pictured) as its new executive vice president and chief financial officer.
President and chief executive Birgitte Ringstad Vartdal said Lønnum has held strategic and financial positions across major Norwegian and international companies as CEO, deputy CEO and CFO.
He will take up the position on 1 February 2026, succeeding Tone Aastveit Skuterud, who has served as acting CFO since 1 January 2026.
Skuterud stepped in following the resignation of former CFO Anna Nord Bjerke.
“I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Tor Lønnum as the new CFO of Statkraft,” said Vartdal.
“Tor has broad strategic, financial and leadership experience as both CEO, deputy CEO and CFO in leading Norwegian and international corporations and I am confident that Tor will be a strong contributor to Statkraft’s success going forward.”
Lønnum said he is looking forward to joining a company that plays a critical role in Europe’s energy system and in developing Norway’s renewable resources.

Statkraft said Lønnum previously served as CFO and later CEO of Kverva, and earlier held senior financial roles at Falck AS, Tryg AS, Tryg Forsikring AS, Gjensidige Forsikring and Aimia.
