Business Network for Offshore Wind (BNOW), in the US, has appointed new board members from Dominion Energy, DEME Offshore and Anbaric.
The new members join those from Orsted, Siemens, Lloyd’s and others.
The new board members each offer experience in the regulatory, utility, transmission and logistical sectors and will “deepen the network’s expertise” in offshore wind.
The new board members are Clark Bruno, who is Anbaric’s chief executive officer, Jan Klaassen, the business unit manager for offshore renewables at DEME Offshore USA and Mark Mitchell, Dominion Energy’s senior vice president of project construction.
“Each board member expands and deepens the Network’s expertise in all facets of offshore wind and the supply chain,” said Liz Burdock (pictured), BNOW president and CEO.
“The Board brings together developers, local suppliers, and utility and federal regulators, which gives our organisation a unique and necessary mixture of experiences so that we can fulfil our mission to develop the US supply chain and support the industry growth.”
In addition, the network has added three new senior staff focused on communications, supply chain development, and strategic partnerships.
Lori Rugh is senior vice president of collaboration and communications, Ross Gould is vice president for supply chain development and Sam Salustro is director of coalitions and strategic partnerships.
