French renewables company Voltalia has announced the appointment of Robert Klein as chief executive officer, effective from 1 January 2025.
The board of directors praised the work of Sébastien Clerc over the past 13 years and thanked him for his commitment to embody the values and mission of the business.
The board expressed its confidence in Klein’s ability to continue development, strengthen profitability and uphold Voltalia’s ambitions and values.
Chairman of the board of directors Laurence Mulliez said: “On behalf of the entire board, I warmly thank Sébastien for all of his contribution and his commitment. It is now up to Robert to take over.”
Klein said: “I am honoured by the mandate entrusted to me and I am counting on all the teams with the support of the board of directors, to take Voltalia towards new horizons.”
Klein joined the company in 2006 with the challenge of launching the group’s operations in Brazil. He subsequently led Voltalia Brazil, being one of the main architects of the company’s growth.
