German developer VSB has appointed Hartmut Lieder as CFO.
Lieder (pictured) replaces Marko Lieske as CFO, who is leaving the company, and also joins the company’s board.
Previously, Lieder was Commercial Managing Director of MEA Group GmbH and CFO of the Pergo group of companies, which belongs to the Pfleiderer Group.
“With Hartmut Lieder, we have hired an extremely committed, experienced and strong leader to our senior management team.
“Together, we will succeed in anchoring VSB as an independent power producer and as one of the leading European energy companies in the wind and PV sector,” said Frédéric Lanoë, CEO of VSB Holding.
“VSB is a renowned player in the industry and has been a wind energy company right from the start. There could not be a better time for green and sustainable investment.
Lanoë added: “This goes hand in hand with our thanks to Marko Lieske for his many years of hard work.
“He has played a major role in shaping VSB and has made it a recognised and valued partner.”
Lieder said: “I look forward to supporting the company and its employees with my experience, courage and passion for the cause.
“Together we want to translate the huge potential into action and form an organisation that can keep pace with the rapid growth.”
