Energy consultancy SgurrEnergy is opening an office in Hong Kong this month to expand its operations in Asia.
The company said the new office will allow it to provide on the ground support to investors and developers in Hong Kong and across south-east Asia.
Cathryn Chu will head up the office in Hong Kong, having previously established SgurrEnergy’s Beijing office in 2006 and expanded the team to 16.
Chu said: “We have been working with investors and banks in Hong Kong for the past 10 years and this presence in Hong Kong will allow us to further explore the renewable energy opportunities in the region, but also provide a base for supporting south-east Asian projects and investments.”
