SgurrEnergy has opened a new office in Santiago in Chile, as part of plans to further develop its South American base.
The company is already working on both wind and solar projects in Chile and the new office will help to support its growing client base.
Vincent Burgmeier, a renewable energy engineer currently based in the company’s Paris office, will head up SgurrEnergy’s presence in Chile.
The office will be shared with SgurrEnergy’s Chilean partner, Coener.
Burgmeier said: “SgurrEnergy’s expansion presents more opportunities for us to utilise its global expertise to establish and grow renewable energy projects in Chile.
“This is an exciting time for renewables in the region and our strong reputation for robust, accurate advice means we are well placed to support the South American market.”
