Schottel has appointed Stefan Kaul as its chief executive and president of industrial operations at its maritime business, replacing Christian Strahberger who is leaving the company.
Kaul (pictured, right) joined Schottel in 1989 and has held several positions, most recently chief technology officer.
Hans Laheij (pictured, left) has been appointed deputy chief executive of Schottel and president of the marine business area.
He has been with the company since 2016 and was previously vice president of sales and marketing.
Schottel is also creating two business focus areas in order to “increase operational effectiveness and further increase the focus on delivering customer value”.
The ‘industrial operations’ business area will cover processes for customer deliveries, while ‘marine’ will focus on all global sales, marketing and services activities and customer contacts.
