The UK government has published ground rules covering the upcoming second round of the Contracts for Difference (CfD2) allocation process.
BEIS released the Draft Allocation Framework as part of the build up to an auction that will pick up pace through the spring ahead of bids due starting 3 April.
The framework outlines a range of specifics that will govern CfD2 including eligibility, strike prices and bidding rules.
A final allocation framework will be published by 6 March.
The full bidding process could wrap up as soon as end-June but, depending on issues such as appeals, could run through September.
