The UK Department for International Trade’s Energy Resources Cluster and Arabian Enterprise Incubators are partnering with the Saudi Renewable Energy Industrial Cluster to deliver a webinar exploring clean power opportunities in Saudi Arabia.
The event will be held on 10 June at 10am UK time (midday Saudi time) and examine opportunities for solar and wind energy for UK companies in the Middle Eastern country.
The Industrial Clusters are the specialised industrial investment attraction and industrial development organisation at the centre of the transformation of Saudi Arabia’s industrial sector.
Saudi Arabia has a National Renewable Energy Program (NREP), which is a strategic initiative under Vision 2030 and the King Salman Renewable Energy Initiative.
The programme aims to maximise the potential of renewable energy in Saudi.
It sets out an organised and specific road map to diversify local energy resources, stimulate economic development and provide sustainable economic stability to the Kingdom in light of the goals set for Vision 2030.
Speakers at the event include Renewable Energy Industrial Cluster Saudi Arabia director Alex Hernandez, Solar Water chief executive David Reavley and UK Export
Finance regional head of Middle East & Asia Pacific Julian Lynn.
Other people involved are Arabian Enterprise Incubators head of market entry Yazan Shukair and Department for International Trade energy and resources cluster senior trade and investment advisor Khalid Darazi.
