Renewable engineering consultancy Wind Prospect has been appointed as lender’s technical advisor for three solar power projects in South Africa.
The UK company said it will advise the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) on the unnamed projects, which have 5MW of capacity each.
The technical services will include pre–construction, due diligence and construction monitoring.
“We are excited to be able to bring our solar expertise to these projects,” Wind Prospect Africa general manager Duncan Ayling said.
“Recognised for our strong wind track record, we are certainly looking forward to showcasing our expertise in solar and in working for the DBSA.”
