D.TRADING has signed a virtual power purchase agreement (PPA) with German renewable energy developer ib vogt for 120GWh of solar power generated in Poland.
The deal covers output from ib vogt’s 40MWp Ziebice solar farm in Silesian Voivodeship, which was fully commissioned in May 2024 and produces around 43GWh of green electricity annually.
The partnership marks a key milestone in D.TRADING’s renewable expansion across Central and Eastern Europe, reinforcing its role in advancing regional decarbonisation.
D.TRADING head of EU power desk Stanislav Dudka said: “This agreement strengthens D.TRADING’s position in the Polish power market and supports our broader strategy to expand renewable energy offtake across the region. By combining long-term renewable sourcing with our trading expertise, we create flexible and sustainable solutions for both producers and consumers.”
Based in Baar, Switzerland, D.TRADING is the pan-European trading arm of Ukraine’s DTEK Group. The company provides renewable energy offtake, balancing, hedging, and market access services, and is continuing to expand its presence across Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe.
