DNV GL is to provide asset management software for 10 new solar projects worldwide with a combined capacity of over 1.7GW.
The projects are all 100MW or above and are located in Brazil, Canada, the Caribbean, Chile, Dubai, Europe, Mexico and the US, the company said.
The GreenPowerMonitor (GPM) system offers monitoring, control and asset management solutions and, including the new projects, covers 8.3GW globally, DNV GL said.
GPM uses a SCADA system to provide real-time information on a plant’s status and also includes preventive and corrective maintenance support tools, the company added.
