Dominion Energy is to buy an under-construction 79MW solar facility in North Carolina from Cypress Creek Renewables.
The project, which is located in Anson county, is being built by an affiliate of Cypress Creek Renewables and is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of this year.
It has a power purchase agreement in place for the electricity that will be generated.
About 450 people will be employed during peak construction, Dominion said.
