EDF Renewables UK is seeking the views of the local community on its proposals to develop a solar farm in Cornwall, south-west England.
The 47.5MW Trelion project will be located to the north of Grampound Road and west of St Stephen.
The public consultation will run from Wednesday 31 January to Friday 23 February, enabling local residents to provide feedback on the proposals ahead of the submission of a planning application to Cornwall Council later this year.
Two in-person consultation events are being held at St Stephen Community Centre on Monday 5 February and Tuesday 6 February.
Members of the project team will be on hand to provide information and answer questions and all are welcome to attend.
EDF Renewables UK said it is committed to ensuring Trelion Solar Farm delivers local benefits, with proposals for a fund of £19,000 each year to support community projects for the 40-year lifetime of the array.
As well as a commitment to maintain as many existing trees and hedges as possible on the site, there will also be a net gain in biodiversity through the planting of new wildflower meadows, hedgerows and trees.
A grid connection has already been secured for the project and a number of ecological and feasibility surveys of the scheme have been carried out.
