German renewables developer Encavis has taken full ownership of solar farms in Spain and Germany totalling almost 219MW.
Encavis said it had acquired the outstanding 20% of the 200MW La Cabrera project in Spain from its strategic development partner Solarcentury.
The company has also taken over the remaining 49% of the Brandenburg/Havel solar park in Germany, including the land, from an unnamed seller.
In addition, Encavis has acquired 64% of the 6MW consented Bitterfeld project, also in Germany.
No details were disclosed on the price of the acquisitions.
Encavis chief executive Christoph Husmann said: “We acquire systematically residual minority stakes of the few solar parks where we are yet not a 100% owner.
“We will make use of such opportunities hereafter.”
