Germany awarded 501MW of capacity to 121 projects in the country’s last solar auction, which in total received 346 bids for 1344MW.
Bid prices were between €47.0 a megawatt-hour and €62.0/MWh, with the average price €56.8/MWh, network agency BNetzA said.
Most of the projects were located Bavaria, which saw contracts awarded to 42 developments totalling 148MW.
In Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, 10 projects with combined capacity of 80MW were successful, while six totalling 49MW won contracts in Schleswig-Holstein.
BNetzA said bids for 76 projects totalling 235MW had to be excluded due to errors.
“There has been a significant decrease in the care taken by the bidders,” it said.
“In particular, errors in the completed forms, such as incorrect addresses, incorrect printouts and empty fields, can be avoided.”
The next solar auction will take place on 1 February.
