Deutsche Windtechnik has won a contract to provide maintenance services for the six 5MW Adwen turbines at the 60MW Alpha Ventus offshore wind farm in the German North Sea.
The contract, awarded by Deutsche Offshore-Testfeld und Infrastruktur, covers annual maintenance on the Adwen AD 5-116 machines.
The work includes remote interference suppression and delivery of components for basic maintenance.
Repair and debugging services that do not require large component logistics is optional, as well as warehouse and spare parts management.
Deutsche Windtechnik has been servicing the project’s other six Senvion 5M turbines since January 2017.
Deutsche Offshore-Testfeld und Infrastruktur is a consortium of EWE, Eon and Vattenfall set up to build the Alpha Ventus.
