GES has received a contract to build a solar farm in Toledo (Spain) for Dunas Capital.
Work on the 19.79MWp project has already started and will be commissioned in the third quarter of 2023.
In total, the plant will be composed of 34,720 panels of 570Wp/unit and will cover an area of 58.8 hectares in Torrijos, Toledo.
GES’s scope includes the design and engineering, construction of the civil and electrical works, supply of equipment and materials, commissioning, necessary tests for the correct operation of the photovoltaic plants and the voltage step up substation, as well as the energisation process and maintenance of the plant.
The plant will produce 42,590 MWh/year, equivalent to the annual consumption of around 13,000 homes in Spain and will avoid the emission of around 40,200 tonnes of CO2-eq over the same period.
