Iberdrola España has signed a new long-term power purchase agreement with Burger King to supply an additional 34MW of solar power.
The new deal brings total capacity under contract to 109MW, covering the annual electricity demand of more than 900 Burger King restaurants in Spain.

The agreement will see Iberdrola España deliver 1900GWh of photovoltaic energy to the fast-food chain, enhancing energy security and accelerating its shift to renewables.
Iberdrola said it manages power purchase agreements across multiple markets including Spain, Portugal, Germany, Italy, the UK, US, Brazil, Mexico, and Australia.
