Infinis has begun construction on two projects in the UK as it accelerates its growth in solar and battery storage.
The 45-hectare Ford Oaks Solar Park near Exeter Airport will generate 37GWh annually, enough to power more than 10,000 homes. The site is aiming to become the first UK solar project to secure Building with Nature accreditation.
Andrew Leeding, director of development and construction at Infinis, said: “Ford Oaks reflects a new generation of infrastructure – where clean energy, nature restoration, and climate resilience go hand-in-hand.”
In the Vale of Glamorgan, Infinis has also started work on Oaklands, its first co-located solar and battery project.
The site will deliver 70GWh a year alongside 46MW of storage when it comes online in 2026.
Ethical Power is acting as principal EPC contractor for both projects, representing five schemes now delivered under its construction framework agreement with Infinis.
Chief executive Tom Kneen said the collaboration “highlights the strengths of Ethical Power as a vertically integrated company, capable of delivering impactful solutions at scale”.
